Now hiring an Automotive or Diesel Mechanic for our shop serving Oklahoma City Environmental Trust! Transdev in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to bolster our team. This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining engines across various vehicles and equipment. All Techs play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our vehicles. Transdev Is Proud To Offer Competitive compensation package of minimum $28.00 – maximum $35.00 / based on experience and certifications An additional $0.10 per hour for each ASE certification you possess or obtain An additional $0.50 per hour for obtaining your CDL An additional $0.50 per hour for obtaining your state CNG certification Benefits Include Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks Sick days: 5 days Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability Company paid ASE testing and training materials Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repair including brakes, suspensions, engines, drivetrains, transmissions, and other repairs Ensure work orders are completed accurately Assist with road calls and emergency services as necessary Qualifications Valid driver's license required At least 3 years of automotive or diesel maintenance & repair employment experience or a combination of technical school education & experience Mechanic’s toolset ASE certifications preferred. Must be willing to participate in company ASE certification program (company training, testing, and bonuses provided) Subject to DOT drug testing.
