About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of creating and sustaining an early childhood system that provides all children and families with access to high-quality early childhood care and education. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic leadership, including shaping and executing the strategy for a coordinated regional early childhood education system. This role involves deepening the impact of the organization's established initiatives, stewarding relationships, finances, and influence, and leading the transition to independent 501(c)(3) status. The Executive Director will also be tasked with fundraising, organizational oversight, external affairs, and advocacy to ensure that the voices of providers, caregivers, and families remain central to the decision-making process. The ideal candidate for the Executive Director position at the company will be a dynamic, engaging leader with a strong background in early childhood education and a proven track record in fundraising, organizational management, and advocacy. They should have a deep commitment to children and a strong understanding of early childhood education best practices, resources, and the legislative landscape. The role requires a leader with a fundraising mindset, entrepreneurial experience, and a focus on equity and community-centered values. The candidate should be a coalition builder, capable of working across political lines, and have a Master's degree in a related field, with a minimum of five years of senior management experience.
