About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting as part of a true full float pool, rotating across multiple campuses as scheduled
• Adapt to varying shift assignments across campuses, with notification provided approximately 2 hours prior to shift start
• Perform comprehensive ICU nursing assessments and interventions in alignment with unit protocols and patient acuity
• Participate in weekend rotation as required by scheduling needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across campuses to ensure continuity and quality of patient care

• Active California RN License (must be verified via Nursys within the last 2 weeks)
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC)
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 4 years of ICU experience required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered at a local rate

• Experience floating across multiple units or campuses within a health system
• Familiarity with high-acuity ICU patient populations in a large urban hospital environment
• Ability to adapt quickly to varying team dynamics and unit workflows across locations
