Talent Acquisition Specialist

Seeking a contract Talent Acquisition Specialist to recruit top talent including sourcing and interviewing for multiple facilities assigned by the Talent Acquisition Manager.

DUTIES:

  • Develop, determine, and implement recruiting best practices for diverse hourly, non-exempt and exempt positions.
  • Partner with managers to determine requirements for the position and qualities of an ideal candidate.
  • Work with managers and HR to create job descriptions as required.
  • Coordinate and conduct phone screen interviews and on-site interviews as appropriate.
  • Manage the job requisition log and applicant/interview/hire reports.
  • Work with managers and HR on interview question development as needed
  • Prepare new hire paperwork and ensure all documents are completed and filed correctly.
  • Schedule new hire orientations and training sessions.
  • Assist with the preparation of HR metrics and reports.
  • Ensure electronic files are neat, organized, and easily accessible.
  • Respond to general HR inquiries from employees and managers.
  • Ensure all employee documentation is compliant with legal and company requirements.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the HR Manager or other HR staff.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5 years in a recruiting role focused on recruitment of all levels including hourly, entry level, non-exempt, and professional-level positions.
  • Must have experience with full life cycle recruiting.
  • Prior experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Prior experience supporting manufacturing industry and related functions/positions.
  • Knowledge of employment regulations with the DOL, EEOC and FLSA.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence and persuade across all levels of the organization, exercising a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, poise, tact, and diplomacy to accomplish objectives.
  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
