Facilities Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician (FTM) to support the daily operations of Class A commercial office buildings. FTM will be responsible for daily and on-going maintenance and repair work on building systems throughout the buildings. This person will be responsible for providing responsive, high-quality service to tenants and management. Responsibilities Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and general building systems Perform general building repairs including drywall, painting, door hardware, and ceiling systems Respond promptly to tenant maintenance requests and facility-related emergencies Maintain accurate records of work orders and completed repairs using computer-based systems Notify management when maintenance supplies require replenishment Escort vendors, contractors, and inspectors, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building protocols Follow OSHA guidelines and applicable safety regulations at all times Qualifications 3+ years of commercial facilities maintenance experience preferred Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general construction Proficiency with hand and power tools Basic computer skills and ability to communicate professionally via email Strong problem-solving skills and professional tenant interaction Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in mechanical rooms, on rooftops, and in elevated areas Familiarity with Daikin HVAC systems, nitrogen dry sprinkler systems and Lutron Quantum Vue lighting controls is preferred but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr Medici Development Partners
