Medical Assembler at Aerotek San Diego, CA

Medical Assembler – San Diego, CA Manufacturing and assembly of medical devices following specific procedures and manufacturing instructions. Will be responsible for the medical assembly of catheters. Will perform rework on rejected products as needed. Will handle and apply adhesives to the inside of catheters. Will utilize a microscope 40% – 75% of the day for assembly and inspection. Will perform 20% soldering with soldering irons (no experience necessary). Will work in a cleanroom and wear PPE such as smock, shoe covers, hair net, beard net; mask is optional. Will use a tablet, work with various colors as the inside of the catheters are color coordinated. Must be able to read, write, and perform documentation of products as needed. Will inspect catheter parts for defects and issues. Will use small tools such as tweezers, scissors, screwdriver, and more. Will follow blueprints, work instructions, SOPs, GDP, and GMPs. Will be cross‑trained in various areas. May help package product with care. May sit or stand 8+ hours a day. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
