Kitchen Utility Worker - Dishwasher

Are you looking for a part-time evening position in a fast-paced, friendly environment? We’re hiring Kitchen Utility Workers for a local cafeteria in Eau Claire, WI! This temporary role offers consistent hours, a starting pay of $17/hour, and an immediate start date.

Position – Kitchen Utility

Job Location – Downtown Eau Claire, WI

Starting Date – Immediately

Employment Term – Temporary until end of semester

Employment Type – Part-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – Varies = Days10:00am-2:00pm, Evenings 5:00pm-10:30pm

Shift 1 - Work Sat-Wed, 10am-2pm, Off Thurs & Fri

Shift 2 - Work Sun & Tues, 10am-2pm

Shift 3 - Work Sat & Sun, 10am-2pm

Shift 4 - Work Sat & Sun, 5pm-1030pm

Shift 5 - Work Sun-Tues, 5pm-1030pm

Shift 6 - Sat-Tues, 5pm-1030pm, Off Wed-Fri

Starting Pay –$17.00/Hour

The Kitchen Utility Worker ensures cleanliness and organization in a local cafeteria kitchen. Responsibilities include cleaning dishes, equipment, and work areas, managing trash removal, and maintaining food safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Cleans and sanitizes dishes, equipment, work surfaces, and floors to maintain a hygienic workspace.

- Handles trash and garbage removal, ensuring designated areas remain tidy and organized.

- Transfers and organizes supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.

- Follows Sodexo HACCP policies, food safety guidelines, and attends required training programs.

- Performs additional tasks as needed, such as washing pots, polishing silver, and maintaining sanitation standards.

Qualifications

- Maintains a highly professional demeanor and recognizes the importance of honesty and strong ethics in every interaction.

- Demonstrates the ability to consistently maintain a positive attitude.

- Capable of communicating professionally and respectfully with coworkers and other departments.

- Proficient in basic computer use.
