Direct Hire opportunity in NW Houston
We are seeking a Quality Lead skilled in Manufacturing and Operations to plan and control QA/QC of 3rd Party Manufactured parts. Duties include performing visual and 100% dimensional inspection of machined products and raw material to ensure they comply with drawing and specifications. Management, inspection, and maintenance of all calibration equipment and maintaining records. Documenting and managing to closure all quality (in process and supplier) non-conformance reports. Weekly reporting of NCR status to Technical and QHSSE Managers. Responsible for the identification, status, and traceability of all parts at goods in/in process and finished product. Producing detailed reports for inspected equipment requiring refurbishment, including rework recommendations. Creating Certificates of Conformity with all appropriate back-up documentation. Review and create document packs for tool bodies. Use of manual and electronic inspection equipment. Documentation/certification review for incoming goods to required technical specifications. Create data packs with all the necessary information/certification regarding the tools manufacturing and scan into the relevant databases.
Qualifications Experience Required: Minimum 5 years experience working in Quality Inspection
Desirable: STEM Degree
Certifications: Required: Certified Quality Inspector
Desirable: Certified Quality Technician (CQT), ASME GDTP (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing Professional)
