Client Relations/Business Development Manager

Client Relations/Business Development Manager A client is seeking an experienced Client Relations Manager to help expand client relationships and generate new opportunities for an established construction company. This position is focused on building connections throughout the AEC community, developing new business, and strengthening relationships with existing clients. Responsibilities Develop relationships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, and other industry partners Identify and pursue new construction opportunities Maintain relationships with current and previous clients to generate repeat business Learn upcoming project needs, schedules, budgets, and decision-making processes Partner with estimating, operations, and leadership on potential projects Assist with proposals, presentations, and project interviews Attend industry events, networking functions, and client meetings Maintain prospect and opportunity information within the CRM Stay engaged with clients throughout and after projects to strengthen long-term relationships Collaborate with marketing on project successes, client stories, and other promotional efforts Qualifications Business development, client relations, or sales experience within construction, architecture, engineering, or the AEC industry Strong relationship-building and networking abilities Understanding of the construction project lifecycle and proposal process Comfortable developing relationships with senior decision-makers and project stakeholders Experience using CRM systems and tracking business development activity Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through Existing relationships within the local construction/AEC market are highly desirable An Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
