Associate Litigation Attorney

Job Summary A growing Orlando law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Litigation Attorney to join its litigation team in a direct hire, full-time role. Key Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from initial investigation through resolution, settlement, or trial.
• Take and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and support discovery strategy.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, reports, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and argue hearings while supporting overall case strategy.
• Investigate and defend liability claims, including product liability and production defect matters.
• Communicate regularly with clients and collaborate with attorneys, staff, and case teams.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $110,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on experience.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Manage litigation matters involving liability claims from investigation through trial preparation.
• Take and defend depositions and prepare for hearings.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and client reports.
• Develop case strategy while working independently and collaboratively with the legal team.
• 4 to 10+ years of litigation experience.
• Experience with product liability, production defects, or other liability litigation matters.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Experience preparing for and arguing hearings.
• Strong understanding of litigation procedures and liability defense.
• Excellent legal research, writing, analysis, and drafting skills.
• Strong client communication and reporting skills.
• Highly motivated, independent, detail-oriented, and organized.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Trial experience.
• Strong academic background.
• Graduation from a highly ranked law school.
• Graduation in the top 10% of law school class.
• Experience working on complex product liability, production defect, or high-exposure liability matters.
