IT Infrastructure Architect

Aqueduct Technologies is seeking a full time IT Infrastructure Architect for our customer based in Rhode Island. This is an onsite opportunity focused on network, server, storage, desktop, data center / hosting, IT security, video and telephone operations and projects.A successful IT Infrastructure Architect candidate will have a high level of integrity, good judgment, knowledge concerning issues of IT Security, excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work as an independent, productive, responsible, self-motivated member of a team in potentially high-pressure situations, at times, while maintaining a calm, customer-friendly perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan design, hardware implementation, software, network, and telephony capabilities.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and telephony issues.
• Develop operating, installation, and upgrade procedures for communication systems, hardware, network, security, storage, and software.
• Document current hardware and network environments, including servers, PCs, IT security and network systems, videoconferencing, and telephony.
• Perform Help Desk and desktop support activities, as needed.
• Research, analyze, and assist in developing documentation and new processes and procedures collaboratively with Director of Infrastructure.
• Maintain quality service by following organization standards.
• Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Respond to unique situations with highly developed problem resolution skills and work independently.
• Drafting technical documentation and security guidelines.
• Collaborating with management, staff, department heads and external partners or regulators.
• Develop business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in an IT discipline or related field
• Five years full time professional experience supporting the following: network, server, storage, IT security or telephony.
• Network and System Administration; troubleshooting, firewall administration, network protocols, routers, hubs, and switches.
• Knowledge of Network protocols (TCP/UDP, DHCP, DNS) and physical infrastructure design
• Knowledge of Cisco IOS, routing, switching and VoIP technologies as well as Cisco UCS datacenter solutions
• Knowledge of Cisco IOS network security principles, including access control lists, TACACS+, SNMP and logging best practices.
• Knowledge of Fortinet products including FortiGate, fontina and Forti authenticator
• Familiar with Fortinet Fertigate next-gen firewall and Forti Analyzer logging and reporting tool
• Knowledge of VMWare sphere management
• Management, Deployment and Security of a diverse set of Devices and applications across enterprise.
• Knowledge of Microsoft O365, Sharepoint and OneDrive
• Knowledge of Endpoint Management software (SCCM, Intune)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure including SAML configuration
• Knowledge of Linux based systems
• Knowledge of Veeam Backup software
• Knowledge of virtual desktop environments
• Knowledge of Apple and Android hardware: iMac, MacBook, iPad, iPhone etc., and MAC OS
• Knowledge of Powershell, php and batch files
• Knowledge of PKI - SSL certificate management
• Knowledge of SQL Server

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pure Storage flash array solutions Network Attached Storage
• Knowledge of VMware Fusion, Bootcamp and Winclone
• Higher Education Experience a plus
