Critical Requirements

• Current Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer.
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of acute hospital experience .
• Must function independently without supervision .
• Must be able to perform routine CT studies and scan according to radiologist protocols.
• No RTO during the first 13 weeks of the contract.
• Flu vaccination required, or facility-approved medical/religious exception documentation before contract start.
• Travelers without an active Hawaii license must apply upon acceptance and have the license by the start date.

Position Summary

The CT Technologist independently performs CT examinations in an acute hospital environment, following radiologist protocols and producing diagnostic-quality studies. The role requires proficiency with routine CT imaging and may involve advanced imaging, procedural, vascular, cardiac, trauma, and stroke studies.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine CT examinations independently.
• Follow established radiologist scanning protocols .
• Operate CT equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform venipuncture as required.
• Produce advanced reconstructions and imaging, including:
  • MIP
  • MPR
  • 3D imaging
• Assist with procedures such as:
  • Biopsies
  • Drainages
• Perform or support:
  • Vascular imaging
  • Cardiac imaging
  • Trauma imaging
  • Stroke imaging
• Maintain appropriate patient safety and imaging standards.
• Document procedures using the facility's systems.

• Venipuncture

Schedule

• 10-hour shifts
