Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit 06/09/2025 Contract Active Job Description: Job Duties: Study patients' charts, medication regimens, and test results upon admission to the Progressive Care Unit. Track routine vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry measurements. Interpret measurements from specialized medical equipment. Monitor and administer prescribed medication, including titration of drug doses. Perform diagnostic assessments on changes in measurements and implement designated interventions. Report deteriorating conditions to healthcare specialists and follow intervention instructions. Update and maintain ward charts, patient files, and medical records. Oversee nursing assistants and support staff in the Progressive Care Unit. Explain treatments and procedures to patients and their families, addressing any questions. Job Requirements: Education: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) or BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a relevant nursing role License/Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) RN license for Georgia State or compact state #J-18808-Ljbffr
