The role involves a variety of responsibilities focused on enhancing cybersecurity and supporting legal and operational actions.
Duties
The duties include:
- Preparing and delivering technical presentations, engineering proposals, and after-action reports to inform leadership on the status of security projects.
- Enhancing cybersecurity capabilities by evaluating security architectures and managing the acquisition and implementation of new tools, systems, and software.
- Fusing computer network attack analyses with criminal and counterintelligence investigations to support legal and operational actions.
- Monitoring external data sources to maintain an up-to-date understanding of cyber threat conditions and their potential impact on the enterprise.
- Analyzing computer-generated threats, log files, and collected evidence to identify the perpetrators of network intrusions.
- Gathering evidence on criminal or foreign intelligence entities to mitigate real-time threats and support the prosecution of computer crimes.
