Join our team and help build engineering solutions that change the industry. **Job Summary:**The **Material Handler - Warehouse** is responsible for safely loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the site. **Additional Information:*** **Starting Pay: $20.85/hr, can be adjusted with experience*** **Schedule: 8 to 5 Monday through Friday, every other Saturday*** This position does not offer relocation* This position does not offer sponsorship* This position is located in Midland, TX**What Will You Do:*** At SPM Oil & Gas, our primary objective is to provide our customers with excellent engineering solutions through our products and superior customer service* Unload, stock and inventory all deliveries* Assist with new orders and cycle counts* Read and understand standard work and risk assessments* Exhibits equipment and product understanding* Counts, weighs, secures, tags, palettize and stacks materials and maintains accurate records of material movement* Assist service operations with pulling and picking parts* Performs other job duties as assigned **What You Will Have:*** Minimum of three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience* Prior experience operating a forklift* Must be able to become forklift certified within 30 days* Must be able to effectively operate hand-held scanner (inventory transaction device) within 30 days* Ability to use identification tools (engraver, metal stamps, paint pen) to mark product* Ability to read and interpret dimensional drawings**Top Candidates will have:*** Basic understanding of the warehouse distribution industry* Experience with Site line ERP systems or warehouse management systems is preferred.**Physical Demands:*** Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear* Required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl* Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus* Must be able to wear protective footwear and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the department **Work Environment:*** Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles* Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and vibration* Noise Level: Moderate### ### **Summary Pay Range:**$20.85 - $27.90Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
