We are looking for a dynamic, PRN, Activities Therapist (Art, Recreation, Music, or Dance/Movement) Board Certified in Specialty who will embrace the opportunity to have a positive impact on the lives of the patients we serve! Centennial Peaks Hospital has been providing psychiatric services to the Denver-metro area for more than 30 years. Located in beautiful Louisville, CO, our 104-bed facility provides a peaceful setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness including chemical dependency. Centennial Peaks offers unique and individualized programming for adolescents and adults that sets us apart from many other treatment facilities. Our hospital is fortunate to provide Electroconvulsive Therapy, Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs in addition to inpatient services.

Bring your expertise, compassion, and desire to help others and make a difference in the lives of others. The Activities Therapist is an important member of the Centennial Peaks Hospital's inpatient multidisciplinary treatment team. The Activities Therapist provides expressive arts therapy, psychoeducational groups, and recreational activities to inpatient psychiatric units. We are looking for candidates who specialize in Recreational, Art, Dance/Movement or Expressive Arts. This is a PRN position-Weekdays with Occasional Weekends. A Bachelor's Degree in Specialty Therapy Required. MUST be registered as a Recreation (CTRS), Music (MT-BC), Dance/Movement (R-DMT) or Art Therapist (ATR) Preferred: Board-Certified in specialty Bachelor's Degree in Specialty Therapy Required. One year experience in working with a mental health population preferred.
