Family Medicine Opportunity In Forest City, Iowa Join MercyOne Forest City Family Medicine, a busy practice with instant volume-replacement for a retiring provider! You will be part of a team of five advanced practice providers in a traditional outpatient family or internal medicine setting. The call is 1:5-6 weeks, and the practice offers lab, X-ray, EKG, behavioral services, and family counseling on site. You will work with tenured RNs and experienced office staff, located 30 miles from MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, a 342-bed regional referral teaching hospital. Specialist outreach includes ortho and podiatry, and telemedicine and teleradiology are available. MercyOne Medical Group- North Iowa offers a $150,000 bonus package, a $300,908 2-year guaranteed base salary, up to $15,000 in moving allowance, and a full benefits package, including paid malpractice and tail coverage, starting day 1 of employment. The regional health system covers 15 counties, including MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, eight critical access hospitals, and 42 clinics in northern Iowa and southern Minnesota, with a network service area of approximately 260,000. Candidates must be board certified within 3 years of becoming eligible, H1B candidates are accepted, and PSLF eligibility is available. Qualifications Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school is required. Demonstrated competency as a physician by completion of an appropriate residency program; board certified or board eligible. Must be able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges. Above average communication skills. Ability to work with a team.
