Salary:
Westaff Hiring Finishing Machine Operator for Manufacturer in Meriden, CT!
Shift:6:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Thursday
Pay Rate:$19-20/hr (based on experience)
The Finishing Operator responsibilities are:
- Metal Painting/Coating, post cure, buffing, de-flashing, bonding, engraving, assembly, trimming parts
- Operate molding machinery and hydraulic press machinery
- Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable state or federal laws.
- Participate in all required internal training.
- Performs other work as assigned within the department or in other departments as workload determines.
The Finishing Machine Operator requirements are:
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, aerospace related a plus!
- Working knowledge of precision measuring equipment such as calipers and snap gauges
- Basic computer skills required
- Physical stamina and strength
- Must be able to stand for 10 hours
- Must be able to lift on occasion
