Telemetry Technician - Part Time Nights

Telemetry Technician Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. This position is Part‑Time and will work 12‑hour night shifts. Under general supervision by the RN, the dual role Unit Secretary/Telemetry Tech provides nursing staff with clerical and telemetry monitoring support to assist in facilitating patient care within its specified area. Responsibilities include collecting and reporting information to the supervising RN and completing all patient‑care related documentation. Required Qualifications Coursework/Training for hires after 10/31/16: completion of a CNA program, or completion of first semester nursing program, or EMT program completion for hires to Emergency Services. For hires after 9/2018: successful completion of dysrhythmia course and ability to pass rhythm recognition exam. Upon hire: National Provider Basic Life Support (American Heart Association). Experience with basic data entry. Preferred Qualifications Completion of MA, CNA, EMT program, Military/Corpsman training or first semester nursing program. Satisfactory completion of a medical terminology course or knowledge of medical terminology. At least one year of acute patient‑care experience. At least six months experience in a direct patient‑care environment providing clerical or provider support related to documentation or charting. At least one year of telemetry tech experience.
