Job Purpose Hiring for a Electro-Hydraulic Technician for Houston, TX! In this role, you will test, troubleshoot, and assemble complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic assemblies using proprietary software and tools. The ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues on local equipment and tooling is required. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without restriction. Job Description Assembles, tests, and installs products according to specifications. Assist in resolving routine issues and most complex problems and questions independently utilizing critical thinking and troubleshooting skills and refers more complex issues to higher levels. Assist in performing diagnostic troubleshooting on failed electronic, hydraulic, or mechanical equipment. Learns to troubleshoot circuits using the appropriate test equipment, schematic drawings, and knowledge of electronics and hydraulics to determine where the failure is. Works under supervision and apply procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet special needs. Collects, records, and maintains quality records and required test documentation associated with receipt, in process, and final inspection including test reports, failed test reports, Quality Notifications (QN's), and Service Notifications (SN's) in a clear, accurate manner. Practices safe work habits and good housekeeping, maintaining the work area clean and sorted and all tools in their proper place. Comprehends all engineering specifications, schematics, service orders, test specifications, and other technical documents. Must have knowledge of electrical and hydraulic circuitry. Has ability to learn and apply skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment in area of expertise. Assist in diagnostic troubleshooting on failed electronic, hydraulic, or mechanical equipment of considerable difficulty with little to no guidance.

You are meant for this job if: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical, vocational, or military training or related experience preferred. 0-2 years' experience in Subsea Controls or a related field or environment with ability to assemble, test, install and train others on all product competencies. Computer literate and ability to use IPads and various software applications. Training and coursework in electrical wiring and termination and electronics preferred. Must be proficient using hand tools and power tools. Exposure on Hydraulic Power Units, Overhead Cranes, Forklifts, Rigging, Torque wrenches, Torque gun would be a plus. Awareness and understanding of hydraulic and electrical schematics. Has good understanding of electronics and hydraulic equipment. Minimum of one year of electrical and hydraulic experience preferred. Must possess mechanical aptitude. Strong interpersonal skills. Highly motivated with a positive attitude.
