Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments to determine patient diagnoses and treatment needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, employing evidence-based approaches to care.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, continually monitoring their effectiveness and adjusting dosages as required.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling, utilizing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT).
• Engage in collaboration with other mental health professionals to coordinate patient care, ensuring a comprehensive treatment approach.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment plans, and healthy coping strategies.
• Maintain precise documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in our electronic health records (EHR) system.
• Conduct regular follow-up appointments to assess treatment effectiveness and provide necessary adjustments to care.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
