Layup Production Technician

CTL Aerospace is a full service NADCAP certified composite-manufacturing company providing services to the major aerospace and governmental organizations since 1946. CTL specializes in the manufacturing of Fiber Reinforced Polymer Structures. We are seeking talented professionals to work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment as a Layup Technician at our northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and/or northern Kentucky).

Job Requirements

• Assembly & Disassembly of part molds without damaging them.
• Part mold cleaning and preparation.
• Read and understand manufacturing plans pertaining to Layup operations.
• Obtain material kits from stockroom.
• Apply materials to molds per manufacturing plans.
• De-mold cured laminates from molds.
• Bag parts for cure.

Job Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder
• HS Graduate or GED
• Ability to interact with people on the shop floor, good social skills, and able to work with diverse work groups.
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment
• Able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to cross train and work overtime as business needs require.
