($800 referrer / $200 referee)Personalized Support - Work with a dedicated recruiter committed to your success.Exclusive Employee Benefits - Enjoy free continuing education (CEUs) exclusive marketplace discounts, hotel savings, pet insurance, and Employee Assistance Program.Shift Details:12-hoursMinimum of 2 shifts per week or as neededNights, Weekends and HolidaysNursing Specialty: RN – Med/SurgRegistered Nurse (RN) Duties & Responsibilities:Providing direct care to diverse adult patients with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions, which include pre- or post-operative care following surgery or the management of acute and chronic renal disease.Responsible for assessing patients, administering medications and treatments, educating patients and families, and coordinating care with healthcare teams.Assess patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.Monitor patient progress and document assessments, interventions, and outcomes.Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.Perform wound care, IV therapy, and other clinical procedures within scope of practice.Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and facility policies.Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR).Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting safety and quality outcomes.Minimum QualificationsCurrent, valid, and unrestricted CA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.Minimum of one (1) year experience as RN in acute care setting in a Level 1 Trauma institution in a metropolitan city with a diverse population.AHA BLS/ACLS/PALS, NIHSS Certification,MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must be LA City),Completion of the LA County Employee Health Clearance prior to the assignment start date.Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g.,.
