About the Role

You have built modern data stacks, governed enterprise BI environments, and led analytics teams that deliver measurable business impact. You know Snowflake, dbt, Dagster, Power BI, and Omni inside and out — and you actively use Claude, LLMs, RAG pipelines, and AI-powered analytics tools to make your data practice faster, smarter, and more impactful. Must-Have Skills

\n

\n
• 12+ years of data / BI / analytics experience — 5+ years in a data leadership or director-level role
\n
• Deep modern data stack expertise — Snowflake, dbt, Dagster / Airflow, Power BI, and Omni
\n
• Strong AI and LLM background — hands-on experience embedding AI into data and analytics workflows:
\n
• RAG pipelines — building retrieval-augmented generation systems over enterprise data
\n
• LLM-integrated data pipelines — connecting LLM APIs to data platforms for intelligent enrichment and classification
\n
• AI-powered analytics — natural language querying, predictive analytics, and intelligent dashboards
\n
• Vector databases — designing and governing vector stores for AI-ready data architectures
\n
• AI governance — responsible AI, data privacy, and compliance frameworks for AI-powered data products
\n
• Strong data architecture — Medallion Architecture, data modeling, governance, lineage, and observability
\n
• Experience building and governing enterprise data platforms — cloud data warehouses and ELT pipelines
\n
• Experience leading data and AI teams — data engineers, analytics engineers, ML engineers, BI developers, and data analysts
\n
• Strong executive communication — presenting AI data strategy and BI outcomes to C-suite leadership
\n
• Consulting or IT services experience — managing data and AI delivery across multiple concurrent client engagements

What You'll Do

\n

\n
• Define and own GPARROT's data, BI, and AI strategy — technology direction, platform standards, AI service offerings, and go-to-market positioning
\n
• Lead modern data platform delivery — Snowflake, dbt, Dagster, Medallion Architecture, and ELT pipeline governance
\n
• Lead enterprise BI delivery — Power BI semantic model architecture, Omni analytics governance, and self-service analytics
\n
• Build and govern AI-powered data capabilities — RAG pipelines, LLM-integrated data pipelines, vector databases, and AI-ready Gold layer data architectures
\n
• Drive AI-powered analytics adoption — Claude, Omni AI querying, natural language analytics, predictive models, and intelligent BI features across client platforms
\n
• Define AI governance frameworks — responsible AI practices, data privacy standards, and compliance controls for AI-powered data products
\n
• Build and scale the data and AI team — data engineers, analytics engineers, ML engineers, BI developers, and data analysts
\n
• Establish data governance frameworks — quality, lineage, observability, and compliance standards
\n
• Serve as the go-to data and AI authority for client stakeholders — strategy, platform decisions, and AI analytics roadmaps
\n
• Use Claude and AI tools daily to accelerate data architecture documentation, dbt model generation, and BI reporting workflows
