Warehouse Operator Job posting title: Warehouse Operator – 116677 Location: USA – Hillsboro, NE Shute Rd RS4 Division: Solutions Time Type: Full Time Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7 AM – 4 PM Base pay range: $25.00 – $27.00 hourly. Position Summary The Warehouse Associate is responsible for operating a forklift and other material handling equipment for shipping, receiving, and picking. Activities include loading, unloading, scanning, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. The Associate also counts and inspects product, and reports damages or discrepancies. The Associate ensures safe and efficient operation of all equipment and performs assigned duties to support company objectives in performance, safety, and quality. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Shipping Responsibilities Use a gas or electric powered forklift to load outbound shipments, manage product, and stack materials accurately according to standard operating procedures. Receiving Responsibilities Use a gas or electric powered forklift to unload inbound shipments, replenish, stack, and store product as defined by standard operating procedures. Picking Responsibilities Use a forklift to pick orders accurately, stage them, and prepare them for shipping including packing, banding, shrink‑wrapping, and labeling. Quality Control Responsibilities Verify received, handled, and shipped products meet quality standards and report any discrepancies. Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance Execute safety protocols, maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility, and assist in security. Equipment Operation Operate sit‑down, stand‑up, reach truck, sweeper scrubber, scissor lift, cherry picker, aisle master, or pallet jack. Maintain and report equipment problems, inspect and perform minor maintenance daily. Operate all equipment safely and follow prescribed methods. Maintain an active forklift certification. Maintenance Assist in building, grounds, or equipment maintenance as assigned. Other Duties Perform other duties as assigned. Work overtime as dictated by business. Supervisory Responsibilities None Minimum Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. At least 6 months experience in a logistics/distribution environment and ability to operate MHE with packaging and labeling experience. Previous mechanical experience. Inventory tracking experience. Certificates, Licences, Registrations or Professional Designations Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program. Other Conditions Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures and stand for long periods. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Computer Skills Basic computer skills. RF scanners. WMS functions. Language Skills English (reading, writing, verbal). Mathematical Skills Basic to intermediate level for inventory quantity verification. Other Strong attention to detail and timely completion. Perform duties with minimal supervision. Communicate with multiple teams and managers. Multitask and self‑starter. Organize tasks and meet timelines in a fast‑paced environment. Adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating environment. Preferred Qualifications 1–3 years experience in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment. 1–3 years forklift experience. Current or prior MHE certification. Physical Demands Occasionally Handling/fingering, sitting. Frequently Bending. Constantly Walking and standing. Ability to Lift/Carry and Push/Pull 21–50 pounds; reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel. Work Environment The work environment has low to moderate noise and rarely exposes employees to fumes or chemicals.
