Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Clearlake, CA. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily living and work skills in a hospital setting. This role involves planning and delivering individualized treatment, participating in interdisciplinary care, and documenting progress according to facility and regulatory standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) degree from an accredited program; Bachelor’s acceptable if license was obtained prior to January 2007 or foreign equivalent where applicable.
• Active California Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• Minimum one year of home health experience as an Occupational Therapist is required.
• Proficiency with HCHB (Home Care Home Base) electronic documentation system is required.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per facility policy is required.
• Valid Driver’s License and must be at least 21 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous hospital setting experience preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0800 - 1600.
• Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts.
• No weekends and no on-call required.
• Mileage reimbursement provided according to government mileage rate.
