RN Interventional Radiology job at ACI Health. Los Angeles, CA. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Interventional Radiology Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and comfort while utilizing advanced imaging technologies. Your expertise will be essential in monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring optimal outcomes. Requirements Years of Experience: 2 years CA license BLS and ACLS 2 years of experience in ER, ICU, Cath Lab, IR, or PACU Epic experience Experience with paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, port placement, and moderate sedation Charting System: Epic Preferred BSN Local candidates interested in temp to perm Responsibilities Assess and monitor patients' health status before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures. Administer medications and manage intravenous (IV) lines as required. Assist physicians during procedures by providing necessary support and maintaining a sterile environment. Educate patients and their families about the procedure, potential risks, and post-procedure care. Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records (EHR). Collaborate with radiologists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols. Stay current with advancements in interventional radiology practices and technologies. Shift: Day (08:00 - 17:00), 5 days a week (5x8-Hour).
