Inpatient, Clinic, and Call Shifts

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an anesthesiologist for an ongoing locum tenens position supporting inpatient care in Eureka, California. This role involves night and weekend beeper call shifts within a hospital-based setting, focusing on inpatient anesthesiology duties.

Opportunity Highlights

• Location: Eureka, California
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens
• Setting: Inpatient hospital environment
• Schedule: Ongoing coverage approximately 1–2 weeks per month
• Shift Times:
• OB Shift: 7am–7pm (in-house 7am–3pm, call 3pm–7pm)
• Evening Shift: 3pm–7am (in-house 3pm–11pm, call 11pm–7am)
  Minimum 5–7 shifts per month
  Guaranteed 8 hours per shift, overtime after 12 hours

Clinical Scope

• Provide anesthesiology services in inpatient settings
• Manage anesthesia for surgical cases and deliveries
• Conduct procedural work as required for inpatient care
• Support shared shift model with other physicians
• Maintain active California medical license and DEA registration
• Board Certified or eligible (Board Eligible acceptable)
• Follow established workflows for inpatient anesthesiology

Requirements

• Active California medical license
• DEA registration
• Board Certified or truly Board Eligible (Board Eligible acceptable)
• Relevant clinical certifications for anesthesiology
