Responsibilities
- Assist experienced plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on construction sites.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment safely and effectively under supervision.
- Support the assembly and installation of piping systems, fixtures, and HVAC components.
- Participate in remodeling projects by performing basic carpentry, handyman tasks, and site cleanup.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with welding equipment, mechanical systems, and construction materials.
- Help with routine maintenance tasks and troubleshooting plumbing issues as directed by senior team members.
Experience
- Basic understanding of construction site procedures and safety standards preferred.
- Exposure to construction plumbing, welding, or HVAC systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to read simple schematics and blueprints is helpful; training will be provided if needed.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to pipe threading, assembly, remodeling, and maintenance tasks.
- Demonstrated interest in building a career within the construction or plumbing industries through hands-on work or related activities.
