Electrical Maintenance Technician

Job Overview Electrical Maintenance Technician – 51 Robinson St, North Tonawanda, NY 14120 Pay: $38 – $41.42 /hr, plus shift differential ($0.50/hr 2nd, $0.65/hr 3rd). Shift: 2nd Shift (M‑F, 3 pm – 11 pm) or 3rd Shift (M‑F, 11 pm – 7 am). Overtime: Daily and weekend as needed. Support the operation of a fast‑paced packaging manufacturing facility. Conduct, maintain, test and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components; apply electrical/mechanical principles to determine malfunctions and restore equipment. Perform preventative maintenance, assist personnel with technical troubleshooting, and maintain performance records per OSHA and company safety procedures. Responsibilities Install, start‑up and shut‑down equipment following company safety procedures and OSHA requirements. Inform management and line mechanics of potential problems and inherent dangers. Maintain company‑required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment. Perform preventative maintenance functions as directed; assist maintenance personnel with troubleshooting. Other duties as required to support manufacturing operations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; electrical background, military training and/or technical school preferred. Ability to maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment per specific directions. Strong commitment to safety, clean work environment and compliance with all safety regulations. In‑depth knowledge of electrical components and equipment, including diagnostic instruments. Computer and PLC programming experience. Flexibility to work any shift and overtime as required.
