The Difference You Make:
The SCIB Portfolio Manager is a Vice President role within US SCIB COO Lending Solutions responsible for portfolio management, credit monitoring and credit administration activities across SCIB lending portfolios. The role is generic across business lines but requires the ability to support Infrastructure Finance, Structured Finance, Leveraged Finance, Investment Grade corporate lending and GTB-linked credit exposures. The role is responsible for quarterly and annual reviews, credit spreading, covenant monitoring, collateral monitoring, rating review support, amendment and waiver analysis, portfolio reporting, risk escalation and lifecycle coordination with Front Office, Credit, Agency, Operations and Transaction Management. Objectives are to 1) maintain a disciplined first line portfolio management framework, 2) ensure timely and accurate monitoring of credit, covenant, collateral and documentation obligations, and 3) support sustainable portfolio governance across US SCIB lending.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Credit Monitoring and Reviews

· Prepare, coordinate and/or review quarterly and annual credit reviews for assigned portfolio names, including financial performance, rating considerations, risk trends, covenant compliance, collateral status and sector developments.

· Perform or oversee credit spreading, financial analysis, variance analysis, leverage/liquidity analysis and borrower performance updates.

· Support rating reviews, watchlist recommendations, exposure analysis and escalation of credit deterioration or emerging risks.

1. Covenant, Collateral and Documentation Monitoring

· Monitor financial and non-financial covenants, reporting requirements, borrowing base certificates, collateral deliverables, insurance requirements, financial statements and other ongoing obligations.

· Track exceptions, waivers, missing deliverables, collateral shortfalls, covenant breaches and post-close items through remediation.

· Coordinate with Agency, Transaction Management, Legal, Operations and Servicing to ensure ongoing obligations are captured and maintained.

1. Amendments, Waivers and Lifecycle Events

· Support amendments, waivers, consents, extensions, repricings, restructurings and other lifecycle events through credit analysis, approval coordination and implementation tracking.

· Assess whether changes require new approvals, rating updates, documentation amendments, covenant changes, collateral updates, system updates or control escalation.

· Partner with Transaction Management to ensure approved amendments are reflected accurately in documentation, systems and monitoring tools.

1. Portfolio Reporting and Governance

· Prepare portfolio reporting, KPIs, KRIs, management updates, issue logs and control evidence for senior management, Credit, Risk, Audit and regulatory stakeholders.

· Monitor portfolio trends across Infrastructure Finance, Structured Finance, Leveraged Finance, IG and GTB exposures, including concentrations, exceptions, ratings, covenants and collateral indicators.

· Participate in governance forums and support remediation plans related to portfolio monitoring and credit administration.

1. Stakeholder Collaboration and Process Improvement

· Work closely with Front Office, Credit, Risk, Agency, Legal, Operations, Transaction Management, Finance and Technology to support a coordinated lifecycle management process.

· Mentor associates and analysts and help develop procedures, portfolio monitoring standards, training materials and quality control routines.

· Identify opportunities to improve financial spreading, covenant tracking, collateral monitoring, data quality and management reporting.

Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience. Strong knowledge of CIB lending, credit analysis, portfolio management, financial spreading, covenant and collateral monitoring, credit documentation, ratings, amendments and portfolio reporting. Experience across Infrastructure Finance, Structured

Finance, Leveraged Finance, IG corporate lending or GTB preferred.

Skills:

· Strong credit, financial statement analysis and portfolio management skills.

· Ability to review complex credit structures, covenants, collateral packages and amendment requests.

· Strong writing, reporting, stakeholder management and escalation skills.

· Experience with spreading tools, covenant systems, loan systems, portfolio reporting tools and Excel; Loan IQ experience preferred.

Key Competencies:

· Sound credit judgment and risk escalation discipline.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage recurring review deadlines.

· Ability to mentor junior team members and improve operating routines.

· Collaborative approach with Business, Credit, Risk, Operations and Transaction Management

Education:
Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience

Work Experience:
7-10 years of relevant experience in CIB portfolio management, credit analysis, credit administration, lending, risk management, agency, financial spreading or related roles.

What Else You Need To Know:

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

$140,000.00 USD

Maximum:

$185,000.00 USD
