Position details:

Anticipated selection process (which may be subject to change): The District reserves the right to utilize a flexible pass point (cut off) on any test part to meet the staffing needs as determined by the District.

Written examination: The written examination portion of the test may have multiple steps, which may be administered on different days (50% of the total score).

Oral examination: The oral examination portion of the test may have multiple steps, which may be administered on different days (50% of the total score).

Participation in all portions of the examination process is by official invitation only. Candidates who do not participate and successfully pass all parts of the examination process will not be considered for the position.

Position details and duties: Full-time position; seven (7) hours per day; ten (10) months per year.

Basic function: The job of Senior Nutrition Service Worker is done for the purpose/s of preparing, cooking, arranging, and packaging large quantities of food at a production kitchen for sale and distribution to satellite school sites; assisting other nutrition server workers; maintaining quantity and quality of established menu items; maintaining facilities in a safe and sanitary condition; and guiding assigned personnel in the performance of their job functions. This job reports to the Designated Administrator.

Initial/Minimum Qualifications

Education and experience: Graduation from high school or General Education Development (GED) equivalent. Three (3) years of job-related experience. Any other combination of education, training, and experience, which demonstrates that the applicant is likely to possess the required skills, knowledge, or abilities, may be considered.

Licenses and other requirements: Valid Food Handlers Card issued by an authorized agency.
