Location: Gemini Precision Machining / 700 E Soper Road, Bad Axe, Michigan

Available Work Hours: 2nd Shift / 3:30pm - 12:00am

$500 Sign-On Bonus $500 Referral Bonus Available

Looking for a starting point in a skilled trade? Want to grow your skillset and build a career with a company that trains and promotes from within? As a CNC Machine Operator, you'll be responsible for setting-up and operating CNC machines to produce steel parts in a variety of shapes and sizes. You won't get bored in this position!

What this work looks like:

Read process sheets, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine dimensions, setup, and operating requirements
Set up and operate CNC machines to machine steel work pieces
Perform and document quality inspections
Monitor and replace machine tooling as needed

Skills needed to win:

Comfortable using CNC machine controls and following instructions
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on work
Solid understanding of basic math, including fractions and decimals
Dependable, detail-orientated, and committed to doing the job right
Eager to learn and grow into more complex roles like multi-axis machining and programming
