ROLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Understanding federal, state, and local employment laws Using basic Microsoft Office Suite and workforce management programs Effectively using scheduling software RESPONSIBILITIES Create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments: Greet guests with friendliness and courtesy (including using appropriate greeting phrases such as "Hi" or "Good morning") Help guests find what they need or resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience End each transaction with a sincere thank you Support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience Work with HR leaders to anticipate and address specific talent and staffing needs for each area of the business; this includes understanding guest needs and ensuring the right mix of experience and skillsets to deliver on the in‑store and digital shopping experiences Lead focused recruiting efforts to help store leaders find and hire candidates Support team member and leader training needs and advocate for continuous learning Be an expert resource for scheduling systems and pay practices Be approachable and available by listening to team members and collaborating with appropriate leaders to take action as needed Deliver on all Human Resources processes and programs to maximize team member engagement and minimize business disruption Support leaders in following company compliance policies that mitigate risk to the team member experience Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance Work safely at all times, comply with all safety policies and best practices, report hazards, and correct them where possible Perform other duties as needed based on business needs WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR You enjoy interacting and helping others—including guests and fellow team members You thrive in a fast‑moving, highly active, and physically demanding role where teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem‑solving are key to success You are open to working a flexible schedule with varying hours, days, or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays, and other peak shopping times) SKILLS REQUIRED FROM THE START Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed Effective communication skills Work both independently and with a team Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot Attention to detail and follow multi‑step processes Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes PHYSICAL & WORK REQUIREMENTS Accurately handle cash register operations as needed Frequently lift or move merchandise up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds without additional assistance Work in and be exposed to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties, including but not limited to Drive‑Up and carry‑out Remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary) Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays); arrive on time, work scheduled shifts, and take required meal and rest breaks BENEFITS Find competitive benefits from financial and educational to well‑being and beyond at BENEFITS ELIGIBILITY Please paste the following URL into your preferred browser to learn about benefits eligibility for this role: AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT (ADA) In compliance with state and federal laws, Target will make reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities.
