Account Manager Opportunity

Build a career helping local businesses with Universal Energy Solutions. We are hiring full-time Account Managers to join our Cincinnati team, serving businesses throughout the local area.

In this role, you'll work directly with business owners to review their electricity and natural gas supply plans, introduce competitive supplier options, and recommend solutions that fit their business needs. You'll primarily manage existing customer relationships while continuing to grow your portfolio through new business development.

Unlike many sales positions where every month starts at zero, you'll build a book of business that can continue generating recurring income through customer renewals and long-term relationships, all while helping business owners reduce their overall energy costs.

Many sales jobs focus only on closing the next deal. Here, you'll build lasting relationships with local business owners while creating a customer portfolio that can continue producing income through future renewals and residual commissions.

Many of our Field Sales Reps have been with us for 10+ years because they've built a "businesses within the business" creating recurring income from customer relationships they've nurtured over time.

We also believe the best leaders are developed from within. As we continue expanding into more than 20+ markets over the next few years, we're creating new leadership opportunities for Field Sales Reps who want to grow with us long term.

Your day begins at the office, where you'll connect with your team, prepare for the day ahead, and follow up with existing customer accounts before heading into your assigned territory. From there, you'll determine the best way to optimize your day as you crush your goals. Typical responsibilities include:

• Build lasting relationships with existing commercial customers.
• Support customers through future renewals and ongoing energy needs.
• Prospect for new clients by meeting face-to-face with local business owners and decision-makers.
• Review current electricity and natural gas supply plans.
• Help businesses identify opportunities to reduce their energy costs.
• Recommend energy supplier options based on each customer's needs.
• Develop new business opportunities between customer appointments.
• Build and grow your own portfolio of commercial accounts.
• Travel throughout an assigned territory (typically within a 30-mile radius of the office).

Successful Field Reps come from a variety of backgrounds, but they all enjoy working with people, building relationships, and helping customers find solutions. Compensation includes performance-based earnings and residual income:

• Commission earned on new accounts
• Residual commissions on existing accounts you continue to manage
• Increased earning potential as you build and grow your client portfolio

Typical first-year on-target earnings (OTE) range from $65,000$90,000, with top performers earning $125,000+ by consistently exceeding performance goals and growing their book of business. Additional compensation structures may be available for qualified applicants.
