Yardi & Business Systems Administrator

Location: On-site — Midtown Manhattan, New York Reports to: Executive Leadership About the Role Summit Properties USA is a national real estate owner-operator with a portfolio spanning residential, commercial, and mixed-use assets. We’re seeking an experienced Yardi & Business Systems Administrator to manage, optimize, and support our Yardi platform across the organization. This role is the central point of expertise for all Yardi systems, processes, reporting, and troubleshooting, working closely with our property management, accounting, leasing, and operations teams. The position also serves as the internal coordinator for IT and security, in partnership with our managed services provider (MSP). Responsibilities Serve as the subject‑matter expert and administrator for Yardi Voyager and associated modules across the residential and commercial portfolios. Standardize and document Yardi processes across departments; identify and implement improvements to operational workflows. Configure and maintain workflows, security roles, permissions, user accounts, and property/entity setups. Design, build, and maintain custom reports and dashboards using YSR and SQL to support financial, operational, and executive reporting. Maintain data integrity through regular audits, troubleshooting, and data cleanup. Manage system integrations and data migrations between Yardi and third‑party platforms. Plan and test system upgrades, plug‑ins, and new module rollouts. Provide troubleshooting and end‑user support; deliver training and maintain documentation. Manage Yardi vendor support cases and enhancement requests. IT & Security Coordination Act as the internal point of contact and liaison to our outsourced MSP/MSSP. Manage user access governance across systems — provisioning, de‑provisioning, and periodic access reviews. Support enforcement of email security and cybersecurity policies, and coordinate the internal side of incident response. Conduct periodic access and security audits. Qualifications Required 5+ years of hands‑on Yardi Voyager administration. Experience administering Yardi across both residential and commercial portfolios. Strong SQL skills and proven ability to write YSR / SQL custom reports. Experience with system integrations, data imports/exports, and migrations. Solid understanding of real estate accounting and property management workflows. Experience managing user security, permissions, and system audits. Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical teams. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or equivalent experience. Preferred Advanced Excel and/or Power BI. Experience coordinating with IT security vendors or MSPs. Microsoft 365 and SharePoint administration.
