Overview

Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers (DTAC) is opening a brand-new girls residential behavioral health facility in Cranberry Township, PA and is seeking experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisors to join our growing team.

Position Summary

The RN Supervisor provides trauma-informed nursing care and clinical oversight to ensure the safety, health, and well-being of youth in a residential setting. This role is responsible for nursing assessments, medication management, crisis response, care coordination, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of youth and the facility
• Conduct nursing assessments including vitals, symptom monitoring, and evaluations
• Administer medications and monitor for effectiveness and side effects
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including MARs and nursing notes
• Coordinate medical care, appointments, and communication with providers
• Provide shift-to-shift handoff and ensure continuity of care
• Communicate clinical updates and concerns to leadership and treatment teams
• Respond to medical and behavioral crises and implement emergency protocols
• Monitor and address safety risks, including self-harm and environmental concerns
• Support a trauma-informed, therapeutic environment
• Ensure compliance with policies, licensing standards, and documentation requirements

Qualifications

Required:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Associate degree with 3+ years of relevant experience OR Bachelors degree with 1+ year of experience
• Minimum of 2 years experience working with adolescents or in behavioral health
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills

Preferred:

• Experience in residential treatment or psychiatric settings
• Training in counseling techniques or therapeutic interventions
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and behavioral management strategies
