Generator Maintenance & Controls Specialist

If ATS logic, load shedding strategies, and surge protection best practices are in your toolkit—or you’re eager to learn—we’d love to meet you.What you'll tackleExecute bi-annual maintenance for residential and commercial customers on a planned route.Install and service generator monitoring systems.Diagnose and resolve operational issues on generators and related components.Deliver routine maintenance and performance checks.Use our CRM to manage work orders, documentation, and a paperless workflow.Participate in a one-week-at-a-time emergency on-call rotation.Why Rack Electric?Growing division with opportunities to be cross-trained across company specialties.Structured procedures and a methodical culture that sets you up to succeed.Training available on generator features and benefits.What you bringClean-cut, professional presence; polite, well-spoken, and detail oriented.Strong mechanical foundation and proven technical aptitude.Electrical background is a plus; knowledge of ATS, load shedding, and surge protection is a great advantage.Own basic electrical/plumbing tools and testing equipment.Methodical, self-motivated, and procedure-driven.Physically able to lift up to 70 lbs on rare occasions and work in positions requiring bending, stooping, squatting, and kneeling.Comfortable working in extreme heat, wind, and rain.Employment detailsJob Type: Full-timePay: Commensurate with experienceSchedule: Monday – Friday 7-3:30; overtime availableOn-call: Rotating schedule requiredStorm support: After hours and weekends required during storms and hurricane seasonWork location: In personBenefits401(k)401(k) matchingHealth insuranceVision insuranceTools, tech, and proficienciesAutomotive vehicles for travel to customer sitesPaperless operations using our CRMMechanical troubleshooting skillsMaintenance and repair skillsLegal and screeningClean Driver’s License (license will be run prior to interview)Drug Free (We are a Drug Free company)Explore our work at #J-18808-Ljbffr Torrey Holistics
