Marketing Programs & Events Specialist

Job Description

Bode Technology is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Marketing Programs & Events Specialist to support the planning, execution, and ongoing development of marketing programs and external-facing activities. This mid-level individual contributor owns day-to-day coordination of industry conferences and tradeshows, Bode’s annual conference, webinars, speaking opportunities, and related initiatives. Working with the Marketing Manager, Sales, subject-matter experts, vendors, and other stakeholders, the Specialist independently manages timelines and deliverables from planning through post-event follow-up. The role requires sound judgment, anticipation of needs, and consistent execution with minimal day-to-day direction, enabling the Marketing Manager to focus on strategic marketing priorities.

Responsibilities

Marketing Programs & Events

\n
• Coordinate and execute Bode’s participation in industry conferences, tradeshows, and other external events.
\n
• Manage event calendars, timelines, registrations, sponsorship commitments, booth requirements, speaking opportunities, and related deliverables.
\n
• Coordinate with Sales, subject-matter experts, vendors, and event organizers to ensure event requirements and deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
\n
• Identify opportunities to increase the marketing value of Bode’s event participation, including speaking opportunities, abstracts, educational sessions, sponsored content, and other appropriate activities.
\n
• Coordinate pre-event marketing and post-event follow-up in partnership with Marketing and Sales.
\n
• Track event activities and outcomes to support evaluation of program effectiveness.
\n

Annual Conference

\n
• Support planning and execution of Bode’s annual conference under the direction of the Marketing Manager.
\n
• Manage conference logistics and project timelines, including speaker coordination, travel, session and abstract logistics, sponsor coordination, off-site activities, and other operational details.
\n
• Coordinate communications with speakers, sponsors, vendors, and conference participants.
\n
• Maintain detailed project plans and deadlines and provide hands-on support during the conference.
\n

Webinars & Educational Programs

\n
• Coordinate the operational execution of Bode’s webinar and educational programming, including scheduling, speaker coordination, platform setup, registration, promotional timelines, and follow-up.
\n
• Work with the Marketing Manager to execute webinar campaigns and ensure supporting materials are completed on schedule.
\n
• Coordinate post-webinar communications and resource distribution.
\n
• Help identify opportunities to extend the value of webinars and other educational programs through follow-up resources and additional engagement.
\n

Thought Leadership & Marketing Execution

• Support Bode’s speaker bureau and thought-leadership initiatives by identifying and tracking relevant speaking opportunities, conference submissions, calls for abstracts, panels, and other opportunities for Bode subject-matter experts.
\n
• Coordinate submission timelines, materials, speaker information, and logistics.
\n
• Translate established marketing strategies and program objectives into detailed execution plans and timelines.
\n
• Coordinate with external creative, web, and other marketing partners to ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
\n
• Support event- and program-related marketing activities, including email, social media, landing pages, promotional materials, and follow-up.
\n
• Help establish and improve repeatable processes for marketing programs and events.
\n

Qualifications

Required

\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Event Management, or a related field.
\n
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in marketing, event marketing, field marketing, program management, or a related discipline.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables simultaneously.
\n
• Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
\n
• Highly proactive and self-directed; able to anticipate needs, solve problems, and take ownership without step-by-step direction.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and effective collaboration with internal teams, executives, technical experts, vendors, and event partners.
\n
• Comfortable working with internal stakeholders, external vendors, executives, subject-matter experts, and event partners.
\n
• Ability to prioritize competing demands, maintain accuracy, and consistently follow through on commitments.
\n
• Ability to learn and use marketing technology platforms and event management systems.
\n
• Experience with B2B marketing, conferences and tradeshows, webinars, professional associations, or technical/scientific industries; familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, email marketing, or project management platforms.
