Production Support, Part-Time

Job Overview We are looking for a motivated and efficient Production Support team member to join our kitchen team. This role involves preparing a variety of savory dishes, assisting with food prep, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring all ingredients are ready for service. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, stays detail-oriented under pressure, and works well as part of a team. Responsibilities Work efficiently and professionally with teammates to keep kitchen operations running smoothly. Stay organized while working quickly and effectively in a busy, high-paced kitchen. Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, equipment, and customer seating areas to the highest hygiene standards. Lift and restock supplies, and assist with unloading weekly deliveries to keep the kitchen well-stocked. Follow recipes accurately and consistently to ensure quality with every batch. Read and interpret order slips, preparing savory dishes as directed with close attention to detail. Safely operate kitchen equipment, including mixers, ovens, fryers, and other prep tools. Perform light dishwashing and clean your work area after each prep task. Wrap, label, and date food items, following FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation practices. Support teammates and contribute to a positive, upbeat kitchen environment. Take on other kitchen-related duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager. Previous kitchen or food prep experience is a plus, but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work efficiently and remain organized in a fast-paced kitchen. Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and team-oriented mindset. Willingness to perform various kitchen tasks and assist team members as needed. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when restocking or unloading supplies. Ability to stand for prolonged periods and engage in repetitive movements during food prep and cleaning tasks. A dynamic team environment where collaboration is key.
