Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where every decision makes an impact? As a Dispatcher at Coastal Waste & Recycling, you'll play a critical role in keeping our operations running safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Working closely with Drivers, Collection Specialists, Operations, Customer Experience, and Maintenance, you'll coordinate daily activities, solve challenges in real time, and help ensure exceptional service for our customers.

Your Role

As a Dispatcher, you'll coordinate routes, communicate with field teams, and partner with Operations to support safe, efficient service throughout the day. You'll monitor daily activity, respond to changing priorities, and work collaboratively across departments to help keep our operations moving.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate daily routes and communicate with Drivers and Operations throughout the day.
• Monitor route progress and adjust schedules as operational needs change.
• Partner with Operations, Customer Experience, and Maintenance to resolve service issues and support efficient operations.
• Communicate route changes, delays, customer requests, and operational updates to field teams.
• Monitor vehicle locations and operational activity using company technology and dispatch systems.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records and documentation.
• Respond quickly to changing priorities while balancing safety, customer service, and operational efficiency.
• Build positive working relationships with Drivers, supervisors, and cross-functional teams.
• Support special projects and other operational initiatives as assigned.

What You'll Bring

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
• Strong customer service mindset with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Experience using dispatch software, GPS systems, or transportation technology is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole) is preferred.
