Role Summary Power Co-op: Civil Engineering: This is not a "get coffee and file paperwork" type of co-op experience.You will be a billable member of the team doing design work for our clients and learning how to use different design technology and software systems, mentoring under a professional engineer. Locations Akron, Columbus, and Youngstown OH office locations. Requirements Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Interest in learning AutoCAD power industry-related design technology. Interest in high voltage transmission/distribution line engineering (12kV to 245kV). interest in structural design for power utility infrastructure. Ability to comprehend and interpret safety codes, utility standards and regulations. Ability to read and understand construction drawings and develop estimates/budgets.
