Superintendent

Tutor Perini Building Corp. is seeking a Superintendent to join our project. Extraordinary Projects need Exceptional Talent Description Manage & monitor construction activity to maintain compliance with contract specs and company quality & safety standards Prepare labor production budget & establishes & maintains labor control in coordination with superintendents & reviews cost reports with General Superintendent or PM Report cost codes and daily labor units Interface with General Superintendent to settle any union jurisdictional disputes that may arise. Works cooperatively & proactively to maintain labor union relations Monitor schedule with General Superintendent & Project Engineers, assign work to field personnel Schedule safety meetings and administers jobsite mobilization Participate in preconstruction meetings Review & verify weekly quantities Coordinate special inspections as required Ensure subcontractors follow Safety Procedures Communicate job status to Project Manager and other management team members on a regular basis Always represent Company with professionalism & a commitment to quality Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Requirements 7 or more years’ experience in field construction and 3 or more years as a superintendent Excellent knowledge of construction, craft activities, cost control schedules & safety Ability to work independently while working in a strong team environment. Ability to prioritize work to accommodate deadlines with minimum supervision Proficiency and working experience in Microsoft Office Platform.
