Registered Nurse RN - Medical Surgical Unit I BBR2 - Per Diem Day Location: Monmouth Medical Center, 300 Second Avenue, Long Branch, NJ 07740 Shift: Day, Per Diem Pay Range: $46.90 - $63.09 per hour Job Overview RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for Monmouth Medical Center. The RN provides nursing care in the health care system within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards and assures awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics. Summary of Job Function The Registered Nurse provides patient care, ensures safety, implements evidence-based practices, communicates with the care team, reports safety issues, oversees delegation of tasks, and uses the nursing process to individualize care plans. Responsibilities Assure safety in practice and promote evidence-based practice. Report identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors. Maintain knowledge of the patient population served. Supervise and delegate tasks to appropriate team members and collaborate with other providers. Consistently set and evaluate priorities with appropriate interventions and measurable outcomes. Utilize the nursing process to integrate all aspects of care and individualize the plan of care. Qualifications ASN or Nursing Diploma One to two years of experience within specialty Strong communication and organizational skills Proficient computer skills BLS and ACLS certification Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License Valid N.J.
