Security Officer - Part Time - 3rd ShiftTurfway Park Racing & Gaming is a gaming and entertainment facility located in Florence, Kentucky, featuring over 800 popular, thrilling, state-of-the-art Vegas-style games, sports wagering, restaurant and simulcast.JOB SUMMARYSecurity Officers at Turfway Park Racing & Gaming will help maintain a safe and secure environment for all team members and guests.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure the safety and security of the team members and guests.Assisting in transporting money.Controlling access to restricted areas.Reacting to guest and team member incidents and accidents.Monitoring passage in and out of gaming facility.Responsible for checking for and reporting safety hazards.May answer incoming calls to the facility and direct calls or answer patron questions.May be asked to operate a company vehicle and/or equipment that require a valid Driver's License.Other duties as assigned.REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIESMaintain interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.Oral and written communication skills.Knowledge of Emergency Disaster Plan Manual.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. Ability to obtain a valid racing license.
