Registered Nurse

Sunshine Homecare Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated RN's to provide one-on-one nursing care in the home setting. Essential Job Duties Provide direct nursing care to patients at home. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor and document the patients health status. Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions. Assist with medical devices such as feeding tubes, tracheostomies, oxygen, nebulizer and catheters as needed. Collaborate with family and healthcare providers. Ensure compliance with the care plan developed by the RN Case Manager and physician. Document care and communicate updates with Sunshine Homecare Services and RN case manager. Use appropriate infection control procedures and safety measures. Comply with all company policies, practices, and procedures. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited RN program. Current NYS RN license in good standing. Current CPR Certification. Skills & Abilities Excellent communication with patients, families, and staff. Ability to handle emergency situations calmly.
