Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse
We are seeking a skilled Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team. This position is ideal for a professional looking to make a meaningful impact in maternal care while enjoying the flexibility that travel nursing provides. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to mothers and newborns through the labor and delivery process.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and provide ongoing assessment during labor.
- Administer medications and pain relief as per protocol.
- Support and educate patients and families regarding labor and delivery processes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Document all aspects of patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Advanced certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS, and Fetal Monitoring.
- Previous experience in Labor & Delivery required.
- Must have a permanent address located 50+ miles from the facility.
Schedule
This is a dayshift position, working from 07:00 to 19:00.
