Location: Columbiana, Alabama (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician to support a modular, containerized data center facility. This position is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the complete electrical plant that serves a high-density compute environment. The successful candidate will receive system-specific onboarding and training, and prior data center experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on electrical systems, including UPS systems, ATS systems, generators, and electrical panels.
• Troubleshoot both high and low-voltage systems to ensure operational integrity.
• Read and interpret single-line diagrams for system analysis and issue resolution.
• Ensure maximum uptime and reliability of the electrical infrastructure.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as diesel generators, power distribution containers, and rack-level PDUs.
• Manage power feeds for high-density compute racks (415V and 400V) and Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs).
• Interface with BMS/BAS instrumentation and control wiring.

Required Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of hands-on commercial or industrial electrical experience, with the ability to operate independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• 7 or more years of professional experience.
• Experience with high-voltage distribution (208V and above), generator systems, and PLC-controlled environments.
