Project Manager

Our client, a leader in the research and development industry, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team. As a Project Manager, you will be part of the Facilities and Project Support Department supporting internal teams and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, proactive communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Support project executives on multiple capital projects ranging from small remodeling to asset replacement.
• Develop project scope, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks related to project scope, logistics, and financials.
• Coordinate vendor RFPs, negotiate with contractors and subcontractors, and oversee project performance.
• Maintain project documentation, update status reports, and track project performance against critical milestones.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 4 to 7 years of relevant project management or construction management experience.
• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Experience managing capital projects valued between $250K and $5M.
• Ability to prepare and track budgets, understand technical construction requirements, and read engineering drawings.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
