New York, Washington, DC - Antitrust - Transactional Midlevel Associate

Morgan Lewis, one of the world's leading international law firms, seeks to hire a highly qualified midlevel associate with law firm or US agency experience and excellent academic credentials to join our antitrust practice in the New York or Washington, D.C. office.

The desired applicant should have:

*Two to five years of transactional antitrust experience, including HSR, deal counseling and contract negotiation, dataroom management, and all aspects of merger investigations (including Second Request compliance) before the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the Department of Justice (DOJ) and other enforcement agencies.
*Some merger control and foreign direct investment experience.
*Experience with other substantive antitrust compliance counseling work and antitrust litigation outside of the transactional area also desired.
*Exhibit excellent research and writing skills, academic performance, and ability to multi-tasks across matters.
*New York or District of Columbia bar membership required.

For positions in NY and Washington, DC the salary wage range for this job posting is $225,000 to $435,000.

The base salary or hourly wage range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. Final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally, salary or hourly wages may be only part of the total compensation package. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
